WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE IN REAL LIFE
What the Players Say…
I liked how the Play challenges were simple and didn’t require a lot of material. I could just do it right there and then and there wasn’t much planning involved. I really enjoyed the games that I would do with someone. I sometimes found it difficult to Play by myself. It was far easier to share that joy together.
As a student who gets caught up in the business of University work, I often neglect how important Play is to have in my life. I found that the highlight of my day was often the moments of doing the Play challenge, whether it be getting someone to Play without knowing it or sparking a conversation with another on ‘folding vs scrunching’.
I’ve become more spontaneous with Play. I enjoyed involving others with my own Play and seeing joy spark in them.
Quite honestly I didn’t know what to expect. I was intrigued and curious when I registered. There were some exercises I found more playful than others and resonated more with my idea of playful. Overall the exercises were a wonderful and largely manageable and light disruption to the otherwise same-o same-o. It’s given me a different way of looking at things, it’s been an expansive experience…reminds me not to take life too seriously…
It was much more than something I could have come up with, it was playful and very doable, also in plain English so everyone can understand. It was fun and I loved it.
